Acceptable Use Policy
Bots built and hosted on Botwright must be safe for the communities they join.
Not allowed
- Self-bots or automating a user account.
- Credential theft — collecting tokens, passwords, payment details or other secrets, including through phishing messages or fake verification flows.
- Unsolicited mass messaging — DMing members who have not asked for it, or advertising across servers.
- Raid or nuke tooling — mass banning, mass channel or role deletion, or anything designed to damage a server.
- Evading Discord's safeguards — circumventing rate limits, bans, verification or anti-abuse systems.
- Harassment and hate — targeting people, or content that violates Discord's Community Guidelines.
- Malware and exfiltration — code that tries to escape its sandbox, attack the platform, or send data to third parties without the server's knowledge.
- Illegal activity of any kind.
Templates
Templates submitted to the marketplace are scanned automatically and reviewed by a person before being listed. Templates may be removed at any time if they are found to be unsafe or misleading.
Enforcement
We may suspend a bot or an account that breaks this policy, with a reason shown to the owner. Use the report button on a template, or the support page, to tell us about abuse.
